Body Ready Method®

What is BRM?

Body Ready Method® is an approach to assess and prepare a pregnant body for an optimal birthing experience and a smoother postpartum recovery. This method uses client-specific movement tools to address discomforts in pregnancy, create a balanced space in the pelvis, and facilitate better baby positioning for birth.

Why BRM® is perfect for pregnancy?

Body Ready Method ® focuses on 5 pillars: upper body mobility, core, pelvis, pelvic floor and movement patterns. BRM® prepares the body specifically for the task of birth and teaches you how to train smarter, not harder. The method can help you:

  • achieve a more efficient birth

  • minimize pregnancy aches and pains

  • optimize recovery

  • minimize unnecessary abdominal separation (diastasis recti)

  • improve pelvic floor responsiveness to avoid organ prolapse and incontinence

Who should book a BRM® assessment?

  • Anyone who is pregnant and wants to prepare their body for birth

  • Anyone who is unhappy with their previous birth experiences and desires to be more proactive and better prepared for their next pregnancy and birth

  • Anyone who is aiming for a VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarean)

  • Anyone who is pregnant and worried about their core, diastasis recti, and pelvic floor function postpartum

  • Anyone who is pregnant and looking for a sustainable way to remain strong, functional and resilient through the entire journey

  • Anyone who values function over appearance
