Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. This body work helps alleviate the soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, over-use of your muscles and many chronic pain conditions. If employed early enough after accidents involving trauma and injury, it can greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning.  Massage therapy can help in the following conditions: inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and tendonitis, stress relief, headaches and migraines, muscle and related conditions such as spasms, strains and sprains, back pain, pregnancy discomfort, and post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Massage may be covered by most extended insurance plans. Check your plan to see if you are covered or if you require a doctor’s note before starting care.
